Itumbi Gets New Govt Appointment

Today, reports have emerged that Mr Dennis Itumbi who is one of the close allies to president William Samoe Ruto has landed a new goverment appointment just some few months after his CAS Post was revoked by the judiciary of this country.

Itumbi has been appointed by the minister of communication and technology, Mr Eliud Owalo to be among a group of technocrats tasked to lead the country in policy, legal and legislative reforms.

Reports says that this team of technocrats will be lead by Prof Timothy Mwololo and Phyllis Mwigwi. Others who have been appointed alongside Mr Itumbi is Zubeida Kananu and Hanningtone Joel Gaya.

“The team of technocrats that includes seasoned media practitioners, legal experts and technology enthusiasts will take part in the robust policy and legislative review of its structures in a move seen to be a wider arrangement to look into media laws and the ever-changing technology landscape.” Says the report.
