DEATH REPORTED AS RAILA’S DEMOS BEGINS

A standoff was reported in Nairobi County after a group of rowdy youths believed to be the supporters of the Orange Democratic Movement Party Leader Hon Raila Odinga threw stones at General Service Unit Officers this morning ahead of the awaited Rally.

According to the viral video clip shared by Citizen Tv on Twitter, the group of Rowdy youths can be seen stunning Police Grand Tiger vehicles even as police respond by unleashing teargas resulting in a running battle between the police and the rowdy group of youths.

But the move comes barely hours after the Azimio One Kenya Coalition alleged that the state has hired goons to posse as their supporters so that they can cause chaos during the peaceful March to the statehouse.

In their claims, Raila said they had received reports that some KKA leaders were dishing ODM T-shirts to the goons.
