COTU Chairperson is Dead

Today, sad news have been reported in the republic of Kenya. This came in after it emerged that COTU Boss has lost his life after leading the union for around 20 years.

As reported by the star news, hon Rajub Mwondi lost his life yesterday in the evening at Nairobi hospital. His death was announced by the current secretary general of COTU, hon Dr Atwoli who described him as a committed Chairperson who always advocated for a good wellbeing of the workers in terms of wages and working conditions.

“Central Organization of Trade Unions Chairperson Rajabu Mwondi is dead. He died while undergoing treatment at a Nairobi hospital and had served as COTU’s chairperson for over two decades.

COTU Secretary General Francis Atwoli has described Mwondi as a committed Chairperson, who advocated tirelessly for fair wages, safe working conditions, and the overall well-being of the Union members.” Said the reports.
