ANOTHER TROUBLE FOR MUSALIA MUDAVADI IN WESTERN

A section of Western Kenya leaders have pledged their support to ODM leader Raila Odinga in the August 9 poll.

Led by DAP-K party leader Wafula Wamunyinyi and Defence Cabinet Secretary Eugene Wamalwa the leaders said ODM chief Raila Odinga, who is out of the country is fit to succeed President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The leaders who were speaking at a rally in Sabatia Market in Butere also told off ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi and his Ford Kenya counterpart Moses Wetangula for joining Deputy President William Ruto to form the Kenya Kwanza alliance.

They downplayed Mudavadi and Wetnagula’s influence in the region adding that they will rally behind Odinga’s candidature.

Lugari MP Ayub Savula and his Tongaren counterpart Eseli Simuyu strongly condemned Musalia and Wetangula. accusing them of betraying the community by acting as “sellouts.”

The team has vowed to popularize DAP-K in the entire region under Azimio la Umoja umbrella.

The leaders embarked on a series of rallies within Kakamega County on Friday.
