AKOTHEE QUITS SOCIAL MEDIA PERMANENTLY

Musician and entrepreneur Esther Akoth aka Akothee has announced plans to take a break from social media.

In her statement on Monday, the mother of five hinted that the purpose of her indefinite leave would be to focus on adding another child.

She asked her fans to let her take a break saying she wants to have her sixth child soon.

She indicated that she wants to get pregnant between now and July this year as her doctor had already told her that it would be difficult to get pregnant immediately after her wedding which took place on April 10.

“So I want to put everything on Hold and concentrate on my love life. If I don’t get pregnant between now and July, every other thing will wait, my Dr @swaleh__md told me to hold on until after the wedding, she told me clearly that weddings drain energy, therefore, I might not get pregnant that soon 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 or I might lose the pregnancy again 🙏 when I received my periods I was mad at myself.

Daktari you were right. Now you guys give me time. I will take a break from everyone and everything including social media. Allow me to look for my second last Born baby, before we talk about other things 💋I want to be a mother this year.”

The 43-year-old musician said her husband Denis Schweizer aka Omosh has instructed her to quit work, leave social media and leave Kenya before Friday.

“Omondi the 7th dwaro Nyathimisteromosh ✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️✈️My husband has ordered I quit social media, stop working and leave Kenya Before Friday,” Akothee said on her Instagram page.

The singer praised her wedding last month while noting that she doesn’t think she will ever have another one as beautiful as that.

She noted that she and her husband have been so busy after the wedding that they haven’t had time to open presents.

“My husband left for work immediately after the two-week break,” she said.

Singer Akothee and her fiance Dennis Schweizer aka Mister Omosh tied the knot in a lavish wedding held at Windsor Golf Hotel & Country Club, Nairobi on April 10, 2023.

Her wedding was graced by family members, close friends, artists, and prominent politicians in the country. A total of at least 300 people were invited to the event.
