Ruto Makes Major Appointment

Some few minutes ago, reports emerged that the president of this country Dr William Samoe Ruto has made a major appointment during his visit to Makueni where he was accompanied by his allies including the cabinet secretary for tourism hon Peninah Malonza.

As reported by the Kenyans.co.ke, the head of state has appointed the CEO of equity bank Mr James Mwangi as the first chancellor of the newly opened, OUK university.

Ruto announced his appointment while handing the charter to Open University of Kenya. He said that he is pleased with Mwangi’s work as the CEO of equity group holdings PLC. He pledged to use his knowledge for the prosperity of OUK.

“The head of state made the announcement on Thursday, August 3, after awarding a charter to the institution at an event held at the Konza Technopolies in Machakos County. Mwangi was tasked with spearheading the institution, which will be domiciled at the Konza Technopolis in Makueni County.

The career banker was directed to ensure that the university produces some of the best professionals and innovators in the country.” Reads part of the report.
