RAILA IS A FAILURE HE’LL NEVER BE PRESIDENT, SABINA CHEGE ATTACKS RAILA

National Assembly Minority Whip Sabina Wanjiru Chege has blamed Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga for his political misfortunes.

Speaking to Inooro TV, the Jubilee Party Nominated MP said the former Prime Minister has failed to get the political crown because of his poor tact.

Sabina, whose relationship with Raila blossomed in the lead-up to the 2022 presidential election, observed that he is a failure and may never become the President of Kenya.

She acknowledged that the opposition leader was close than ever to forming the government, but again he missed the chance. Raila has ran for the presidency five times.

“This time he was very close. He failed. I have realized that instead of the strategizing on how to win next time, he resorts to demonstrations. Protests cannot solve his perennial lamentations,” she said.

The former Murang’a Woman Representative explained that she dumped Raila for President William Ruto because she cannot take part in illegal demonstrations.

“As it stands, we all know William Ruto is the President and any other narrative is neither here nor there. I will support Ruto to deliver on his promises. Demonstrations disrupt our businesses and lives in general.”

In addition, Sabina said retired President Uhuru Kenyatta introduced the idea of working with your competitors when he closed ranks with Raila for the famous ‘Handshake’ on March 9, 2018.

“We are following in Uhuru’s footsteps. We must unite the country,” she said.

Uhuru, the Jubilee Party leader, has, however, maintained that he recognizes Raila as his boss and dismissed the likes of Sabina, who have switched camps.

Azimio has instituted disciplinary actions against leaders, who have pledged to work with Ruto, with Sabina being on the line of fire.

Azimio has vowed to dewhip her as the Minority Whip, saying she cannot champion the opposition agenda in Parliament when she in bed with the government.
