SABINA CHEGE TALKS ABOUT JOINING WILLIAM RUTO

Murang’a County Woman Representative Sabina Chege has come out to set the record straight on her political stand amid reports that she is planning to decamp from President Uhuru Kenyatta’s Jubilee to Deputy President William Ruto’s United Democratic Alliance (UDA).

Taking to her social media page, the second-term lawmaker assured her doubters that she is still in the ruling party and is not planning to leave anytime soon.

In a post, Sabina shared a campaign poster in Jubilee colours captioning it with the phrase “Jubilee ni sisi” to mean she is still in the party.

Her affirmation followed reports that she was one of the leaders from Murang’a county who were expected to join DP Ruto who was campaigning in the region today, Sunday, March 20.

Sabina is one of the high-profile leaders from the region who is still yet to decamp to UDA from Jubilee ahead of the August general election.

Her recent silence from the political scene, since she fell ill a few weeks ago, has risen questions on whether she is contemplating shifting allegiance from Azimio la Umoja to Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza Alliance.
