Ruto’s Govt Records The First Handshake
President William Samoei Ruto’s five day developmental tour to Central Kenya has already started bearing not only economic but political fruits too.
This is after two fierce political rivals who contested against each other in the 2022 general elections burried their differences and agreed to work together.
Governer Anne Waiguru, who won the hotly contested race against Wangui Ngirici have now resolved to burry their hatchet and seek a development driven course that will work for the benefit of the people of Kirinyaga county.
Congratulating the two while addressing a mammoth crowd at Kenol, Murang’a County, President Ruto applauded the two and assured Kenyans that he will work to ensure that peace prevails across the country because peace is the first precursor towards a stable economy.
This is happening when talks between Kenya Kwanza and Azimio La Umoja are currently in the pipeline to ensure that both the opposition and government find a long term solution to anti-government protests.
