RUTO’S CLOSE ALLIES SKIPS HIS BIG EVENT IN EMBU
President William Ruto tour to the larger mount Kenya region of Embu county has been marked with a major setback as most of his close political allies skipped his key event in Embu county where president is set to launch a number of projects.
The mount Kenya region leaders who are missing the today’s event mainly comprises of governors from the region who always accompanies the president to the region.
Theu include: Kirinyaga governor Ann Waiguru who is also the chairperson to the council of governors in the country. She had in the recent threatened to lead governors in a protest against Ruto’s administration on delays of disbursement of county funds by the national government.
Others missing in action are Kiambu governor Kimani Wamatangi, Muranga governor Irungu Kangatta, Nakuru governor Susan Kihika, Meru governor Kawira Mwangaza mong other governors from the region who are missing in action.
President William Ruto is expected to launch several projects in the region including SMEs, Cooperatives and Revenue expo, at Embu Univeristy.
He is also expected to launch affordable housing programs in the region a head of the Madaraka Day celebrations that will be held in Embu county next week on Thursday.
