Ruto Replaces Azimio Governor

Today in the evening, reports have emerged that the president of the republic of Kenya Dr William Samoe Ruto has made a major appointment in the ministry of energy.

As reported by the standard digital, the president has appointed Dr John Mativo as the new managing director of KETRACO. Mativo’s appointment to this office was effective as from yesterday.

He will be serving on this position for the next three years from now. His appointment was announced by the minister of energy hon Davis Chirchir.

“John Mativo appointed new Ketraco Managing Director for three years effective Friday, June 21; he replaces Fernandes Barasa who resigned in February 2022.” Said the reports.

Mativo will be replacing the current governor of Kakamega county hon Fernandez Barasa. Hon Barasa resigned from this post last year on january when he announced his gubernatorial bid. He was later on elected as the new governor of Kakamega county through the ODM party
