RAILA, OKA LOOK-ALIKE VEHICLE REGISTRATION NUMBERS CAUSE STIR ONLINE

Registration numbers on cars used by Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party leader Raila Odinga and One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principals have caused an uproar on social media.

The registration numbers spotted by netizens and seen by K24 Digital are KCY 473H, KCY 474H, KCY 475H and KCY 476H.

On some of the circulating photos, Raila is seen aboard a Toyota VX KCY 473H, Kalonzo Musyoka KCY 475H and Moses Wetangula KCY 476H. Some other photos show Raila in KCY 474H, and this has caused a major debate on social media.

“Government vehicles for OKA and ODM? Or it’s just a coincidence? KCY 473H KCY 474H KCY 475H,” Soi Member of Parliament Caleb Kositany posted on Twitter.

Another Twitter user Gen. Kago posted: “Are Raila and OKA funded by the state or the number plates are a coincidence? Are we funding them?”

On Facebook, Plo Sigei wrote: “Raila Odinga and all the OKA Team threatening to vie for president are all government projects. They use State sponsored cars with registration No KCY 472H, 473H, 474H, 475H, 476H.

K24 Digital could not immediately confirm the actual owners of the vehicles.
