PLANE HITS A COW TO DEATH
According to multiple reports including from Citizen TV reporter Jane Chemutai Goin, there is scare as a plane has knocked down a cow on the run way at the newly launched Kabunde Airstrip in Homabay County raising fears.
A photo shared of the incidence shows the front part of the said plane slightly deformed and showing what looks like a blood stain after the incident.
Orange Democratic Movement party Director of Communications Philip Etale, has now put the Kenya Airways Authority to task to explain why such an incident happened considering that the runway is supposed to be cleared for landing
“If it is true, question that begs is, doesn’t the Airstrip have KAA staff who must clear the runway ahead of the landing of the aircraft? ” Part of the tweet by Philip Etale read.
Just recently, Transport Cabinet Secretary Kipchumba Murkomen in the company of ODM politician and Homabay County Governor Gladys Wanga opened the new Kabunde Airstrip in Homabay County in a move to bolster movement in the county.
