KALONZO RECEIVES A MORNING SHOCKER IN MOMBASA

A few hours after arriving in Mombasa for the Azimio rally, Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina now claims that Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka is a spoiler in the Azimion one Kenya Alliance.

Speaking on Thursday, Senator Ledama alleged that the Wiper party leader was only interested in his own selfish interests.

“I am now 100% convinced that Kalonzo Musyoka is nothing but a spoiler! He does not care about Kenya but his own selfish interests! A Leader who believes that it’s only his way or the highway should not be given a chance to lead Kenya. I too can make a powerful Deputy President,” he said.

There has been tension in the Azimio group over who is going to be named Raila Odinga’s deputy.

A section of Wiper leaders has been demanding that Kalonzo be given the position on grounds that he brings the most numbers and that he is the most experienced.

Reports emerged on Wednesday indicating the former vice president would also not attend interviews for the selection of Odinga’s running mate.

The 7-member panel selected to vet Odinga’s running mate said they will be done by May 10, 2022.

Ruto allies such as Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen have also condemned the Azimio team for subjecting Kalonzo to interviews.

Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang’ula also attacked Azimio saying they were keen to embarrass Kalonzo.

He added that the Wiper leader is justified to shun the interview saying it is a disgrace to his persona.

“He is at it again: disrespecting and humiliating his comrades. Now HE Kalonzo is to prostrate himself before Raila loyalists to demonstrate his “suitability” to be a running mate. SKM you deserve better! The outpouring of anger is justified.”

On Wednesday, the United Democratic Alliance leader weighed in on the running mate issue that is rattling the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance.The DP now said that the matter of subjecting the Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka to an interview is an “Impunity” and out of order.

The Dp said the Wiper leader deserves some respect and putting him for an interview is a show of deceit.

“Though we are competitors,to subject HE Kalonzo to some humiliating ‘interview’ is impunity. We must unite to eliminate the culture of political deceit,the hallmark of some politicians. Whatever the circumstances every leader deserves some dignity and respect. Heshima si utumwa.” Ruto said.
