IDENTITY OF WHO IS BEHIND BURNING OF PSV BUS AT NGONG ROAD

Tension is high around the country following Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga’s call on his supporters to resume anti-government demonstrations today.

Irate demonstrators burnt a Public Service Vehicle(PSV) bus on Ngong Road on Tuesday morning as the demos began triggering mixed reactions from Kenyans.

Nairobi County Senator Edwin Sifuna has broken his silence to react following the burning of the PSC bus on Ngong Road alleging who is behind the incident.

Sifuna who is also the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Secretary General has alleged that the State is behind the incident, arguing that the State is in a well orchestrated spate of violence and trying to paint the Azimio demos as violent.

He has urged Azimio supporters not to fall for the shameful tactics by the government which are meant to incite violence and maintain peace.

“The state in a well orchestrated spate of violence is trying to paint our #MaandamanoTuesday as anything but peaceful. We know these tricks.

We urge our supporters not to fall for these shameful tactics meant to incite Nairobians against each other and maintain peace,” Senator Sifuna said.
