Gachagua Finally Speaks After Cabinet Reshuffling
Deputy president Rigathi Gachagua on 5th October afternoon resurfaced online with a bold message alleging what happened today in the morning.
Hours after President William Ruto’s cabinet reshuffle, Gachagua noted that they are keen on the implementation of bottom up economy as directed by the head of state.
According to his statement, he chaired a cabinet sub-committe meeting at the deputy president residence to align the ministerial objectives with the president’s Agenda.
“We are keen on faster and effective implementation of the Bottom Up Economic Transformation Agenda as directed by President William Ruto”, he wrote.
“At Karen Official Residence today, I chaired a Cabinet Sub-Committee to align our inter-ministerial targets and objectives for quicker realisation of the President’s agenda”, he added.
His statement comes off hours after President William Ruto reshuffled his cabinet following public outcry.
Among those that were affected include Dr Alfred Mutua, Moses Kuria, Alice Wahome and others.
It should be noted that Mutua replaced Miano as Tourism Cabinet Secretary while Moses Kuria now heads public service. Alice Wahome is in land docket while Miano is now CS for Trade, investment and Industry.
On the other side, Azimio la Umoja one Kenya Coalition’s chief Raila Odinga yesterday castigated Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government for failing to adress key issues facing ordinary Kenyans.
According to mr Odinga, the current government is making the previous regime off Uhuru Kenyatta look good.
