CJ WILLY MUTUNGA ANNOUNCES HIS PREFERED PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE

Former Chief Justice Mutunga has for the first time revealed his preferred presidential candidate between Azimio La Umoja and Kenya Kwanza Alliance aspirants in an interview with KTN news.

Mutunga who was speaking to Sophia Wanuna stated that he dreamt of a government that had a position and did not envisage one that had fallouts as had been evident in the current government.

According to Mutunga, he was sceptical when friends told him that if he was not in Azimio he was in Kenya Kwanza and stated that he found that rather foolish as he neither supported either faction.

When asked who he will vote for in the forthcoming elections, Mutunga categorically stated that he did not need to vote and he was adamant that he had to take that critical decision.

He reiterated that he had spent his time supporting Kivutha Kibwana to run for the top seat and was dismayed by his decision to shelve his ambitions and back Raila Odinga.
