GOVT OFFERS 300K SPONSORSHIP TO PEOPLE WHO DID KCSE BTN 2000 & 2021. HOW TO APPLY.
Everyone who got their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) between 2000 and 2021 has the chance to graduate from a state program with technical knowledge.
On Thursday, October 6, the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Services (KUCCPS) said that more than 300,000 sponsorship spots had been filled.
The notice from October 6 says that qualified applicants can be put into diploma, craft, and artisan certificate programs that will start in January 2023
Part of the announcement said, “Anyone who got their KCSE certificate between 2000 and 2021 and hasn’t gotten government help for TVET courses can apply, as long as they meet the basic requirements.”
The notification states that applications must be submitted between Friday, October 7 and Sunday, October 16.
Prerequisite
The basic prerequisites for the candidates were also specified in the statement. For the Artisan Certificate Course, students must have received a mean grade of D- or lower.
On the other hand, applicants for craft and certificate studies must have a mean grade of D (plain) or higher, and those for diploma programs must have a mean grade of C- (minus) or higher.
How to Apply on KUCCPS
Candidates should go to the student portal at www.kuccps.ac.ke, the KUCCPS website.
To log into the system via the web application, personal information must be entered.
Include your KCSE year, KCSE index number, and password.
Keep in mind that the password must either be the KCSE index number or the birth certificate number.
Once logged in, you can choose up to four courses, starting with the one in which you are most interested. Next, click Send.
