CHIEF CHOPS OFF WIFE’S HEAD.

A 24-year-old man chops off his 50-year-old mother in-law’s head killing her on the spot.

The suspect is also alleged to be assistant Chief within the region.

The young suspect allegedly killed Rose Karimi escaping the homestead on the wee hours of today morning.

Karimi’s mother, Ann Karigu, said the incident happened while she was out of the house milking the cows.

The suspect later dumped the head in Bush, according to witnesses accounts.

Karigu revealed that she was woken up by the strange distress calls and when she dashed out, she found the suspect running after Karimi.

She noted that the man promised to kill her, prompting her to flee away when she atrempted to assist her daughter.

“I witnessed him murder my daughter Karimi, and he also promised to come back and end my life,” Karigu told journalist.

The man then headed to a construction site where he was working and continued his usual duties.

Chiakariga Deputy County Commissioner Chalo Kaloki confirmed the attack, adding that they were told about the unfortunate brutal death at around 6:40 am.

Kaloki said that tthy visited t the scene aand discovered the body lying in a pool of blood.

He explained that their preliminary findings showed that there had been a standoff between the man and his wife’s family.
