Deputy President William Ruto has joined ex-Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu in mourning the death of his mother Monica Waititu.

In a message of condolence to Waititu, DP Ruto mourned the deceased as a loving and generous woman whose wisdom and counsel will greatly be missed by the County’s residents.

“I extend my condolences to Hon. Ferdinand Waititu and his entire family and friends following the demise of your mother Monica Njeri Waititu,” DP Ruto tweeted on Friday.

“Mama Monica’s love, counsel and genorosity which she extended to the community will be missed.

The deceased, 93, passed away while receiving treatment at Aga Khan Hospital on Monday owing to heart failure.
