Nyanza Governor to Be Impeached

According to multiple sources, Nyanza County Governor is in trouble after over 28 members of county assembly signed a petition to impeach him over alleged corruption and mismangement of the county.

According to the information shared, Nyamira County Governor Amos Nyaribo who had recently ditched Azimio La Umoja -One Kenya Alliance led by Raila Odinga and pledged to work with President William Ruto is in a tough situation after over 28 MCAs signed ouster motion.

Blogger Abuga Makori says atleast 30 MCAs have signed an impeachment motion against Nyamira Governor Amos Nyaribo.

He alleges that among others, the MCAs accuse the Governor of mismanagement, corruption and general maladministration. Only 3 are yet to sign.

It is reported that last week, Nyaribo sacked his Health CECM Dr Ombati over similar claims. The MCAs are also demanding to know why Nyaribo is yet to relieve Finance CECM Emily Ongaga who had been impeached.

The Nyamira governor Amos Nyaribo is the party leader of United Progressive Alliance. He was also elected in the last general elections to the gurbenatorial position using the same party.
