LET SAKAJA VIE, GOOD NEWS TO JOHNSON SAKAJA

Jubilee Party Vice Chairman, David Murathe has finally changed tune on Nairobi Gubernatorial candidate on UDA Party Ticket, Johnson Sakaja. The embattled Politician has been on the headlines after the Commission for University Education revoked his Degree from Teams University in Uganda over claims that he illegally acquired it.

Sakaja on his part is insisting that he graduated from Teams University and that he has a valid Degree hence should be allowed to vie for Nairobi Gubernatorial seat. He is set to know his Political fate on Friday when the Court will make a ruling on the dispute surrounding his academic qualification.

Azimio La Umoja brigade want Sakaja to be barred from running for the Gubernatorial seat but Murathe who is a key ally of President Uhuru Kenyatta has called for Sakaja to be allowed to vie despite the controversy surrounding his Degree.

According to Murathe, Johnson Sakaja should be allowed to vie because he believes that the UDA Candidate cannot defeat Jubilee Candidate, Polycarp Igathe in August. Murathe reinstated that Sakaja doesn’t have enough following in Nairobi and that he won 2013 and 2017 Nairobi Senatorial race because of the huge backing of Jubilee Party. He has therefore pleaded for Sakaja to be allowed to vie for Nairobi Gubernatorial seat so that Igathe can embarrass him.
