KENYAN POLITICIANS SEX SCANDALS

Kenyan politicians are known for their theatrics in the public domain.But behind their public innocence,their dirty linen always get to the public domain.

The list of those affected  by the trend includes prominent politicians who even have children out of wedlock.

Have a look at below names and be the judge.

1. Bishop Margaret Wanjiru

She is the former Starehe Member of Parliament and founder of Jesus is Alive Ministry church.

Wanjiru, a former member of the Orange Democratic Movement(ODM) is not new to controversy; from declaring in public that she is a former devil worshiper to disowning his late husband, identified as James Kamangu, who passed away on August 2008.

The man, who hailed from Gachie in Kiambu county, claimed he sired Margaret Wanjiru’s sons, Stephen Ndimu and Evans Kariuki.

By then Wanjiru was an assistant minister for Housing and became a laughing stock to the public when she said that her  status could not have allowed her to be be married by a man who was infested by  jiggers.

The statement ,in most communities, is a symbol of poverty.

Kamangu even took Wanjiru to court to stop her intended marriage to South African preacher Samuel Matjeke.

2. Rachel Shebesh

The Nairobi women representative is not new to controversy.From being slapped by Nairobi Governor Evans Kidero and later opting for an out of court settlement,she courts controversy wherever she goes.

Just a few years back, photos of her emerged showing her in a compromising situation with Nairobi senator Mike Sonko.

The photos were alleged to have been leaked by the popular senator who later blamed it on social media.

Shebesh is said to be married to a prominent businessman.

3. Mutula Kilonzo Junior

The Makueni Senator, Mutula Kilonzo Junior, has already been taken to court  by a woman who is seeking maintenance for her 3-year-old daughter which she claims belongs to the politician.

Mutula is said to have sired the child out of wedlock and the lady is now seeking KSh 259,000 a month as  upkeep.

4. Raphael Tuju

The former Cabinet Secretary was recently implicated in a  sex scandal after his wife Ruth Akinyi was caught having a extra -marital affair with his bodyguard, the late Tony Ogunda.

Esther Ogunda, wife to Tony Ogunda, leaked the secret affair to Tuju informing him that his wife Akinyi had eloped with her husband and had even been housing him in Ngong.

5. Martha Karua

The tough-talking politician who also harbours presidential ambition is not new to controversy.

Although her private life is not well known in the public domain,a lot of issues have emerged that has put her family in the spotlight.

There was a rumour that she was dating a popular bishop who is also a member of a top university in Kenya.

After the story came out and published by one of the newspaper in Kenya,she sued the publication and was compansated.
