78,424 more candidates were registered in 2021, representing a 10.42 percent increase from 752,602 candidates registered for the examinations in 2020.
The 2021/ 2022 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCPE), will be released today.
In their latest report, the Kenya National Examinations Council has revealed that the results will be released by Education CS Prof George Magoha at the KNEC Headquarters tomorrow.
Education Cabinet Secretary Prof George Magoha had earlier hinted that the candidates who sat the papers in March and April 2022 were to receive their results before schools resume learning for term one learning on Monday 25th April 2022.
The Kenya National Examinations Council (KNEC) registered 831,026 candidates for the 2021 KCSE exams.
In total, 78,424 more candidates were registered in 2021, representing a 10.42 percent increase from 752,602 candidates registered for the examinations in 2020.
Upon the release of KCSE examinations, the candidates can access their results through the SMS number provided during the official release of results or through the online portal.
How to Check KCSE Results 2021/2022 Online
To check your 2020/2021 KNEC KCSE results online,
Go to the KNEC website https://www.knec-portal.ac.ke/ and enter your Index number
Check for the KCSE Results tab, then click on it
Select the year you sat for the Exams
Enter your Index number
Finally, click the Submit button
Your KCSE results will show on the screen after a while.
