DETAILS OF LATE NIGHT MEETING BETWEEN UHURU, RAILA & 6 OTHER GOVERNORS
Raila Amollo Odinga and the entire opposition coalition have vowed to continue with the protests despite a strong warning from the head of state President William Ruto.
Odinga has vowed to defy even after the Nairobi region police commandant Mr Adamson Bungei’s refused to warrant permission to the protestors saying that they have not been conducting peaceful protests.
The Kenya kwanza blogger Dennis Itumbi has leaked an alleged details of a late night meeting between the former president Uhuru Kenyatta and the former retired prime minister hon Raila Amollo Odinga.
Itumbi says that the meeting which has also incorporated six governors from where the Azimio la Umoja one Kenya alliance receives support is planning and fundraising for Tuesday’s next week protests.
According to Itumbi one hundred and eighty four million Kenya shillings (184 million) have been raised by the duo and the former cabinet secretaries in the former regime.
He further said that they have planned to transport protestors from Kisumu to the city to cause violence and target several big shops in the country.
It is said that they have agreed to pay tough demonstrators seven thousand shillings (7000 shillings) and those that will be mobilizing from Kibra will be paid five thousand shillings.
The HNBI reporter says that the meeting also planned on the Jubilee party take over and install hon David Murathe as the chairman.
