BIG MISTAKE BABU OWINO DID IN PARLIAMENT DURING VOTING

A drama has been witnessed in the National Assembly after Embakasi East Babu Owino’s vote on Finance Bill got rejected after breaking the protocols of voting.

According to the video shared, the lawmaker who was called to vote took the chance to make a speech something that made his vote to be spoiled. Deputy Speaker Gladys Boss affirmed that when one is called to vote he/she should just say yes or no instead of making unnecessary speeches which may ruin chances of the vote being accepted. Efforts by Babu Owino and other Azimio MPs to defend the vote failed as Gladys Boss affirmed that the vote had already been spoiled.

“That is a spoiled vote, honourable members that is why it is important not to make a speech just say yes or no, that of Owino is spoiled,” Deputy Speaker Gladys Boss said.

This comes as the Kenya Kwanza and Azimio MPs are battling in Parliament on the Finance Bill with the Ruto’s side fighting towing the battle while Raila’s side are opposing the bill.
