Deputy President William Ruto Raids Uhuru’s Bedroom
Deputy president William Ruto is on a winning streak. It seems he’s picking speed and momentum as he gears to succeed his boss of the last 8 years. Yesterday was a good day for Hustler Nation after he did a coup on President Uhuru’s bedroom.
Traditional media and bloggers were caught unaware after Gathoni and MPs David Gikaria (Nakuru Town East) and Samwel Gachobe (Subukia) met Ruto at his official residence in Karen, Nairobi, yesterday, and vowed to support his presidential bid.
Out of the 13 MPs in Uhuru’s Kiambu backyard, nine have joined Ruto’s wing. They include Gabriel Kago (Githunguri), Kimani Ichung’wa (Kikuyu), Moses Kuria (Gatundu South), Githua Wamacukuru (Kabete), Wanjiku Kibe (Gatundu North), Patrick Muiruri (Thika), Jonah Mburu (Lari), George Koimburi (Juja) and Ng’ang’a King’ara (Ruiru)
With Kiambaa elections looming, Deputy President William Ruto and UDA party are poised to get their first national assembly member. Ruto’s political mastery was seen when he successfully convinced Moses Kuria to withdraw his candidate from Kiambaa.
Unlike ODM and Jubilee whom seem not to agree on fronting and campaigning for one candidate, UDA is being run military style. Everything is being done with precision and consensus never seen in post independent Kenya.
