Cherera Reveals Her Deepest Regret

The former IEBC Commissioner Juliana Cherera has broken her silence from exile where she is hiding for fear of her life and spoken candidly on matters elections.

She has told the Bi-partisan team that, what she went through at IEBC and after the August 9th polls is regrettable and it’s something that she doesn’t wish it to happen to anybody else including future Commissioners.

Juliana Cherera is firm that, working at IEBC was extremely difficult for she was never consulted by the Chairman.

She is also firm that, government officers have threatened her life forcing her to go into hiding.

Juliana Cherera is firm that, what the 4 IEBC Commissioners went through for defending Kenyans and the will of the people is bad and regrettable.

She is hopeful that, the new IEBC team will conduct elections in a transparent manner so that the will of the people prevails.

The other 4 ex – IEBC Commissioners also presented their position to IEBC and gave a recommendation on what they feel is the best way forward.
