MITHIKA LINTURI JOINS AZIMIO LA UMOJA

Woes of the embattled United Democratic Alliance (UDA) ally Hon Mithika Linturu who is a strong pro-Ruto senator increased after an uproar from Kenyans following his slur remarks in the Eldoret Sports Club where the deputy president launched his official 2022 campaigns.

This led to his arrest by the DCI which earned him two nights in the police custody before the courts released him on bail pending further investigations of his inciting “madoadoa” utterances.

The ODM leader Hon Raila Odinga was also not left behind as he strongly criticised Mithika Lunturi’s remarks and urged all politicians to tame their tongues as rigorous 2022 campaigns kick in.

Yesterday, Baba attended a funeral event in Tigania West in which a burial ceremony was conducted to send off the victims of banditry attacks in the area

He was accompanied by top politicians in the area allied to his camp. The Meru senator surprised many Kenyans after attending the event few days after his release. He also shared photos of the event whereby he got a chance to interact and greet Tinga in a warm embrace despite their political differences.
