A woman who claimed she had a romantic relationship with the Senate Speaker recently moved to the High Court in Nairobi demanding KSh 25 million support for her unborn child.
Through her lawyer Danstan Omari, the lady claimed that being the father of the unborn child, Lusaka had declined to take responsibility, to support and provide for her and the unborn baby.
However, the two agreed to settle the matter out of court.

Meru senator Mithika Linturi was dragged to the corridors of justice after Maryanne Keitany claimed the politician had intended to disinherit her.
Keitany, a former staff at the Deputy President William Ruto’s office claimed she got close to Linturi when Ruto gave her an assignment to ‘distract’ her husband from tabling Governor Anne Waiguru’s impeachment motion.
In her submission on September 4, 2019, she told the court they went to Sopa Lodge in Naivasha in 2014 where they spent the night together on their own terms.

The former Machakos senator divorced his wife Agnes Kavindu in 1993 when it became apparent their affair was no longer tenable.
Sometime in 2021, Muthama accused Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka of breaking his marriage.
He claimed his ex-wife Kavindu and Kalonzo had a secret love affair that began way back in 1985 and went on even before he formalised their divorce of the mother of his children.

The Ikolomani MP was on the spot after a woman moved to court seeking upkeep of KSh 200,000 monthly for child maintenance.
The woman, Caroline Mutheu Mwakodi, asked the court to compel Shinali to pay the child monthly maintenance for a five-year-old boy.

An ECDE teacher in Uasin
county in 2015 sued the governor over the neglect of their 14-year-old child.
Caroline Jesang Maina moved to the Eldoret Law Courts, alleging that the governor had refused to honour his promise of giving her a nice residence and providing for the child.
The court heard that Mandago stayed with the complainant from 1998 to 2002 and in 2001 begot the son who was the subject of the matter.
- Alfred Mutua
The drama between two ex-lovers Lilian Nganga and Governor Alfred Mutua took another twist when the woman accused the politician of threatening her.
Nganga, however, clarified that she was never married to Mutua despite having stayed together for close to 10 years.
In her statement, she also claimed Mutua demanded she returns money she may have received from him in the course of their staying together.

The deputy president was sued by one Priscah Chemutai Bett for allegedly neglecting their child.
Chemutai narrated that the two met in 2005 when she was still a student at Moi University in Eldoret.
She was introduced to the then Eldoret North MP by a friend and later gave in to Ruto’s advances since she was gullible, young, and naive.
Ruto, later on, admitted to being the father of the said girl restating the daughter was well catered for including her education in private boarding school.
