BABU OWINO JOINS KENYA KWANZA, OFFERED THIS POSITION

Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has ruled out joining the President William Ruto-led Kenya Kwanza alliance.

The lawmaker however says the transfer would be on a condition that he is accorded a senior post in the ruling side.

This he stated after the question was posed to him during an interview with NTV. 

The lawmaker praised Ruto for his win.

He stated that the one thing he had come to terms with is that the head of state is a brilliant man.

Babu disclosed that he confessed to the president during an alleged short meeting 

in parliament that he had outsmarted the Azimio team during the polls.

The outspoken lawmaker stated that his words should not be misinterpreted to mean that he’s shifted his support from ODM leader Raila Odinga 

The legislator further stated that moving forward, his side of the political divide must sit down and reason.

Babu stated that to beat Ruto in 2027 they would need people who reason beyond the accepted normal like him.
