Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition leader Raila Odinga and his allies are now between a rock and a hard place as plans for them to be taken to International Criminal Court of Justice takes a new twist, amid the ongoing bipartisan talks.

Fresh details have now emerged that over 700,000 signatures have been collected to have four top Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition leaders investigated by International Criminal Court over chaos that erupted during peaceful demonstrations.

It no longer a secret as Kenya internally Displaced Persons organization (KIDPO) have successfully managed to collect over 700,000 signatures to petition to the ICC to have four top opposition leader investigated for inflammatory conduct as well as looting and property destruction seen during Azimio demonstrations.

KIDP executive director Peter Tena said that the bid is gaining traction in counties like Nakuru, Trans Nzoia, Bungoma and Nyandarua with high prospect to collect over 2million signatures within three weeks so that they can file petition to the ICC.

The organization went ahead and ask the elected leaders across the country, clergy as well as civil society actors to help them do the mobilization of signatures from all the 47 counties to support an appeal to the International Criminal Court to take up the matter to the next level so that the dignity of Kenya be restored.

Tena said that the main reason for this entity bid is because of of the civil unrest Opposition Leader Raila Odinga has created in the country by organizing unlawful demonstrations that has led to the destruction of properties, as well as loss of lives. He also alleged that the work of opposition is to oversight the government function to ensure that it’s in check and not organizing demonstrations.

This come after leaders allied to his excellency William Ruto warned Raila that should he fail to call of the demonstrations then they will be forced to involve the International Criminal Court of Justice to take of the matter.
