RUTO STATES REASON FOR SKIPPING MAGOHA’S BURIAL
President William Ruto will not attend former Education CS George Magoha’s Burial Service.
A statement by his press secretary Emmanuel Talaam indicates that the head of state will spend his day in Naivasha where he is meeting Governors and national government executives.
The President is expected to close the two day seminar this Saturday.

Ruto was expected to attend the burial of Magoha by many.
Since his death, the president did not manage to visit the former CS’ Lavington Home to condole with the family like other leaders did.
He also did not attend his requime service at Consolata Shrine in Westlands on Thursday.
Many expected that he will attend the burial service having missed preceding key functions.
Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua was also a no-show at the event. He however, managed to visit the home after his death.
It is while addressing the press while there that he said the government had granted the family the support they requested.
The family had asked the state to help in airlifting the body of Magoha to Siaya, a wish that was granted.
Despite Ruto’s abscence, former President Uhuru Kenyatta is leading mourners in giving the former CS a befitting sed off.
Magoha served as CS under his regime.
ODM leader Raila Odinga is also present.
