TWO BIG PARTIES WHICH HAVE DITCHED AZIMIO FOR KENYA KWANZA

Ford Kenya leader and Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang’ula now say Pamoja African Alliance and Maendeleo Chap Chap Parties have joined the Kenya Kwanza Alliance.

Kilifi Governor Amason Kingi is the defacto leader of PAA while the MCC party is led by Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua.

He further noted that the two outfits will boost the Kenya Kwanza chances of winning the presidency easily come August elections.

“Congratulations Maendeleo Chap Chap and PAA political parties for joining the Kenya Kwanza Alliance Coalition. Your entry brings in additional energy and guarantees, even more, KKA’s assured victory in the August 9th General elections. Hongera,” Wetang’ula tweeted.

Mutua and Kingi have been blaming the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance for seemingly reneging on their earlier deal and denying them the coalition agreement.

Mutua on Friday said they will be moving to court to demand the Azimio coalition give them the deal so that they assess whether the agreement was changed.

He said the party will this Monday unveil its way forward following the latest development.

It is expected that both Kingi and Mutua will be unveiled as new entrants to the Kenya Kwanza on Monday, a move that will multiply Azimio’s problems.

The two parties were weeks ago denied a chance of exiting Azimio after the registrar of parties ruled that they failed to follow due processes of exiting the Azimio Coalition party.
