RUTO REVEALS POWERFUL STATE HOUSE JOB HE’LL OFFER NDINDI NYORO

President William Ruto on Tuesday named his suitable nominees for various cabinet slots. However, shortly after the announcement, Kenyans were quick to notice that some popular names were missing on that list. Key among them was Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro.

The absence of Ndindi Nyoro from President William Ruto’s cabinet has elicited a lot of heat in Kiharu and by extension Murang’a County. This is because residents of Murang’a County were near certain that Nyoro would make it to the cabinet.

Word has it that two aspirants had already started their campaigns in readiness for a by-election because they were sure Ndindi Nyoro was headed to the cabinet. According to Nation, Charles Karundo had already released campaign posters for Kiharu MP By-election while Mr. Karanja Mburu had begun canvassing to decamp from Jubilee to UDA to succeed Mr. Nyoro.

Speaking to Nation. Africa, Mr. Karundo expressed confidence that President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua will eventually find a place for Ndindi Nyoro so that he leaves Kiharu MP Seat to him. He alleged that some powerful people in the current regime had assured him that Ndindi Nyoro would in due course get an appointment.

“My dreams are still valid. It is not over until it is over. Let us wait for the naming of the President and Deputy President Advisors as well as personal assistants. I have been assured by State House that the government is very big and elastic that and as sure as there is a God in Heaven, there will be a by-election in Kiharu and you are speaking to the next MP,” said Mr. Karundo.

Speculations have since emerged of a powerful Statehouse appointment that President William Ruto might offer the vocal Kiharu lawmaker. An insider from the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) submitted that Ndindi Nyoro might be staring at the Statehouse comptroller position.

“It is early to speculate since there is a huge chunk of power brokers yet to be named especially in State House where the job of comptroller is yet to be allocated,” said the UDA insider.

The insider went ahead to reveal that the head of state has a lot of passion for Mr. Nyoro and hence could not leave him out of the lucrative government appointments. He observed that President William Ruto always sees Nyoro as his son or younger brother. The President is said to have on several occasions confessed that Ndindi Nyoro shares some of his mindset and would therefore like to keep him close.

“The kind of passion President Ruto likes Mr. Nyoro is on another level. He treats him like his son or younger brother. He is a sort of a confidant. Dr. Ruto openly says Mr. Nyoro shares some of his mindset and are buddies,” added the insider.

During the campaigns, President Ruto asked the Kiharu constituency and Murang’a county residents to allow Ndindi Nyoro to help him with the national campaigns. Dr. Ruto termed Ndindi Nyoro as a pillar of his campaign. He promised them that once he succeeds, he would remember them and reward them accordingly.

“This young man is one of the key pillars of my campaigns. He is doing a wonderful job mobilizing youthful voters to our side. I beg you people of Kiharu and Murang’a to free him to help me in the national campaigns. Embrace him as one of your own and release him to me and I will remember you once we succeed,” Dr. Ruto is quoted on July 27, 2022.

Residents of Kiharu and Murang’a are now counting on that promise to have their son appointed to a plum government post. Several leaders from the region have expressed confidence that the president will come through for Nyoro.
