RUTO PUNISHES MUTHAMA RUTHLESSLY AFTER HE DUMPED HIM

Breaking news reaching our news desk this Friday is that former Machakos Senator Johnson Muthama has resigned as the chairman of the ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA) Party.

Nation reports that Muthama has already handed over his resignation letter to the party headquarters in the capital.

Muthama has been holding this crucial office in the UDA Party since its inception in February 2021.

According to the publication, Muthama has hanged his boots so as to pave way for his vetting after he was nominated to the lucrative and powerful Parliamentary Service Commission (PSC).

Mutham has said he is now in the process of handing over.

“I have handed over my resignation to the party headquarters. What I am currently doing is proper handing over to the party secretariat,” he said as reported by Nation.

His nomination by the PSC was forwarded by Speaker Amason Kingi to the Senate Committee on Justice, Legal Affairs and Human Rights, which is chaired by Bomet Senator Hillary Sigei.

The committee will vet Mr Muthama for the position.
