Suna East MP Junet Mohammed has outlined a dress code that all attendees should wear to the Azimio la Umoja event at Kasarani Stadium, Nairobi.
The staunch supporter of ODM party leader Raila Odinga, categorically stated that Kenyans must wear official attire for the Friday, December 10, 2021 event.
“There are no specific colors, but everyone should come in the clothes that they love because it is an important day, an international day of big celebrations – a day for Azimio la Umoja.
“Anyone can wear what they want, but they must be officially dressed, not coming in shorts or clothes you use for swimming,” Junet stated.
He went on to reveal that they had invited prominent figures- such as; diplomats, religious leaders, business community leaders, corporate leaders, politicians- and that the event would be the mother of all events.
The NA Minority Leader accompanied Odinga to inspect the ongoing works to ensure everything was in line according to plans.
Raila earlier met with 200 Jubilee and ODM party members from Nairobi, he urged Nairobians to turn out in large numbers before 6:00 AM (EAT), adding that he would use the event to make his big announcement.
“Nairobians, please don’t let me down. I have been an MP in Nairobi, so I urge you by 6 AM when the cock crows, the stadium should be full. You have asked me whether I will be on the ballot or not. Wait for it; the answer will be revealed on Friday,” Raila remarked.
