REAL ANGEL SPOTTED IN MURANG’A.

A photo of a being claimed to be an angel was shared widely by Kenyans online, with a majority alleging that it was the Angel Gabriel

Reportedly, the ‘angel’ was seen in the Gaturi area, Murang’a County.

In the photo, the figure – seemingly a woman – had dyed hair and was in all white; from trousers to the sheer top and broad white wings.

It was first shared in Kenya on Friday, March 3 on Facebook before some media houses circulated it.

Is this the one we were told would come?” a renowned vernacular TV station posted on its social media pages on Friday, March 3.

Additionally, a vernacular TV presenter shared the image on Saturday, March 4 with his 17,000 followers.

“All Kenyans are on their way to Murang’a after receiving news that “Angel Gabriel” landed in Gaturi Murang’a County yesterday.

“These Kenyans are heading there to at least have a handshake and take a selfie with this “angel” before he resumes back to heaven,” the presenter joked.

Some online users suggested that it was time to repent as the end times were reportedly near.

Other Kenyans took the chance to educate on the Biblical scriptures and the end times, quoting, “In the last days, people will mock the gospel.”

Furthermore, a section of Kenyans suggested that the ‘angel’ was in Kenya to meet Mwalimu Yesu wa Thangole – a man from Bungoma County claiming to be Jesus Christ.

However, a Google reverse search by Kenyans.co.ke established that the photo was first shared by one Hon Chandrin Nseemani on Tuesday, February 28 on Facebook.

Nseemani, from Lusaka Zambia, describes himself as a politician on social media sites.

“An angel spotted in Mongu Zambia,” he shared with his 191,000 followers.

While some questioned the dressing and hair of the ‘angel’ others were bothered by the beaded jewellery wrapped around the right wrist.

“Must be a Zambian angel. There is no record of female angels in heaven,” one suggested.
