PRESIDENT UHURU LIFTS NATIONWIDE CURFEW

President Uhuru Kenyatta on Wednesday, October 20, announced the end of dusk to dawn curfew put in place to curb the spread of Covid-19 in the Country.

Kenyatta vacated the nationwide curfew which was effected on March 27, 2020, with immediate effect.

“With the authority vested in me as president, I hereby order that the nationwide curfew that has been in effect from the 27th of March 2020, is hereby vacated with immediate effect,” the president directed. 

Kenyatta also reviewed upward the number of congregants allowed in worship centers.

From his directive, two-thirds will be allowed in worship centers from the initial number of one-third.
