AISHA ACCIDENTALLY LEAKS RUTO’S HIDDEN PLAN

Aisha Jumwa, a candidate for the Public Service Cabinet Secretary position, accidentally made public the directive that President William Ruto gave to all of his nominees after they received National Assembly approval.

Ms. Jumwa appeared electronically in court for the hearing of her murder case, which prompted the judge to ask her some questions.

The former Malindi legislator’s attorney, Mr. Danstan Omari, said the court that his client was unable to appear in person since all Cabinet Secretary nominees were instructed to stay close to State House in Nairobi.

He said “There is a possibility that those nominated to the Cabinet Secretary positions may be sworn in today (Wednesday), so they must be near State House so that the exercise can be conducted.”

The lawyer informed the court about the order after the judge wondered why Ms Jumwa was not physically in court.

“Ms Jumwa is not in court and I don’t remember excusing her from attending court today,” the judge remarked.

However, although being pleased with Mr. Omari’s reply, Justice Ong’injo cautioned the lawyer to avoid waiting until the court asks about a suspect’s location in the future.

“The matter will be mentioned on November 30. The suspect must attend the court physically on that date. Their advocates can attend virtually,” the judge said.
